Unfortunately the overdue meeting of fifth round of PGE Ekstraliga, between ebut.pl Stal Gorzow and ZOOleszcz GKM-u Grudziadz, on Friday fell through again.
The first planned date for the match was 19th May on Sunday, but the weather was an obstacle then. It was raining heavily in Gorzow and the track was not proper for racing.
The competition was postponed for Tuesday 28th May. The beginning of the meeting was planned for 18.00. It was also raining that day but the track was covered with a tilt. After uncovering the workers for a long time were trying to prepare the track for a safe rivalry. Finally the decision of the judge was bilateral walk-over.
„I was waiting for the evaluation and announcement of managers. The track was difficult but proper for racing – it is my opinion. The opponents refused to race after extraordinary track trial. I talked to riders of both teams and they claimed that the track was dangerous, that is why they didn’t want to race. The managing entity will make the decision and they announce it„ – said the arbitrator of the competition Michal Sasien.
