On Saturday 16th of March 2024 Martin Vaculik received another very important prize. The rider became a laureate of ‘Cristal Wing’ for sport achievements in a very prestigious plebiscite in Slovakia.
Every year a ‘Cristal Wing’ rewards important people in Slovakia for successes in science, culture, philantropy, sport and many other disciplines. The jury nominated personalities and achievements in 10 categories for the ‘Cristal Wing’ Prize for 2023 year. They also chose a laureate for Special Prize, who was a singer and composer Marika Gombitová.
After he got this prize, Martin Vaculik couldn’t hide his satisfaction with such a honorable mention in very important plebiscite in his homeland.
“I would like to thank very much for awarding me with ‘Cristal Wing’. I would like to thank for being a laureate of ‘Cristal Wing’ in sport discipline. This is a Great Honour for me. It’s a very prestigious prize. The nomination itself, being among so many amazing personalities, whom I could meet, this is a great experience for me. This is a benefit of the doubt for me and a great motivation for the further hard work. I will go to the mat in my discipline. I would like to thank very much to my family and to people who gave me such a wonerful reward. I promise will do my best on the track. Thank you” – said Martin Vaculik.
