In 2024 the team of Martin Vaculik was on fourth position in PGE Ekstraliga competitions. In a double match for bronze, riders from Gorzow turned out to be weaker than KS Apator Torun.
Stal lost the first encounter on their home track 43:46. However in the away match with the team led by Piotr Baron triumphed 54:36. Apator won on their hometrack.
During transfer time, Gorzow made a few changes in the lineups. The leaders: Martin Vaculik and Anders Thomsen, stay in the club.
Oskar Paluch and Oskar Fajfer also stayed in the club. They have contracts for the whole season 2025.
Instead of Szymon Wozniak Andrzej Lebedevs was taken from Leszno. The Polish will have been scoring for his mother club – Abramczyk Polonia Bydgoszcz.
Also from Leszno, Hubert Jablonski is on a loan. He is to strengthen the group of junior riders in a local team.
After season 2024 Pollestad left the team and went to Krosno. Jakub Miskowiak was a new rider in Grudziadz, whereas Andrzejczak and Piotrowski-Predki went to Pila.
Gorzow is not between the favourite teams to win the championship, however it sometimes happens, that a team perceived as a weaker one made a surprise in liga.
„We are conscious not to be a favourite team to win a championship in this season. But we do our best so that our fans would be proud of us. There aren’t any easy meetings in PGE Ekstraliga, no team is unbeatable, and no team is guaranteed to lose” – said Martin Vaculik.
