Martin Vaculik’s perforrmance in Grand Prix of Sweden was not successful one. The Slovakian was eleventh after the match.
The rider after four starts had six points. The crucial for promoting Martin to semifinal was the race number seventeen. If he won, he would get to the best eight of the tournament with nine points.
In the seventeenth race he competed with: Andrzej Lebiedew, Fredrik Lindgren and Leon Madsen. Unfortunately the chase did not pan out as Martin Vaculik had hoped. The competitor fell down on the track on the first band of third lap. He did not score any points in that run.
After a weaker performance in Grand Prix of Sweden, the rider in general classification of Speedway Grand Prix 2024 is still fifth. However he has fifteen points less than Jack Holder, who is third now. The sixth tournament of SGP is taking place in Gorzow Wielkopolski on June 29.
“It wasn’t my day today. I was straggling a lot on the track today. I hope to do better next time, in Gorzow. Best regards to all my fans” – said Martin Vaculik.
